Coolpad launched Cool M7 smartphone with Android Nougat in China

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad has expanded its smartphone series with the launch of Coolpad Cool M7 smartphone in China. The smartphone has a price tag of 2,699 yuan and it comes in Matte Black and Blue colour options. The smartphone will go on sale in China from August 26 on jd.com.
The Coolpad Cool M7 features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, the device offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and sports a 12MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and Sony IMX362 sensor. There is also a 13MP front facing shooter with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. Measuring 151.16×74.32×6.9mm, the device is backed by a 3200 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C.

Recently, Coolpad started sending invites for the launch of its Cool Play 6 smartphone on August 20. The smartphone was first launched in China in May this year at 1,499 Yuan, which is roughly Rs 14,000. The Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes with a dual rear camera setup and metal unibody design. The smartphone comes with dual speakers and USB Type C.
The Coolpad Cool Play 6 has a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. The device offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.
It sports a dual rear camera setup with two 13MP modules for depth of field and monochrome functionalities. The camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. There’s also an 8MP front camera with /2.2 aperture for selfies. The smartphone is backed by a 4060mAh battery.
