Indian smartphone maker Intex has launched its latest budget smartphone Aqua Note 5.5 in India. The smartphone offers respectable specifications for its price and Android Nougat operating system.
Price and availability
The Intex Aqua Note 5.5 comes with a price tag of Rs 4,299 and is available on Amazon in Champagne Gold colour option. At this price point, the smartphone will face competition from the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 4A which is available at Rs 5,999.
Specifications
The Intex Aqua Note 5.5 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by 1.25Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The dual SIM device offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.

The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front shooter with flash for low light selfies. The device is backed by a 2,800mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Recently, Intex launched its Aqua Style III at Rs 4,299. It has a 5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor with Mali 400 GPU. The smartphone offers 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. Users can further expand storage up to 64GB by adding a microSD card.
The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The device sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter. Measuring 146.3×73.3×9.5mm, the smartphone is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.
