Google has tasted success with its Nexus range of tablets and now reports hint that the company is working on an 8-inch version of the tablet. Internet grapevine is abuzz with alleged specs of the new tablet, which is being manufactured by South Korean electronic giant LG. According to Digital Spy, a device code named the LG V 510 was recently revealed which Evleaks claims is a new addition to the Nexus range. Reports also suggest that a mysterious Google tablet which recently appeared in a promotional image for the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system will arrive in the market as the Nexus 8.

Detailed Specifications of NEXUS 8

Nexus 8 will have a 5 MP primary camera, while a 1.3 MP camera will be placed on front side for Video calling.

Hardware and Software

The tablet  Nexus 8 will be an Android tablet and will support latest Android version  4.4 and will support eMMC storage of 16GB and offer 1GB RAM. Running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the LG G Pad 8.3 has Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 802.11 Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.

There isn’t much info on what the Nexus 8 tablet may feature under the hood, but it’s valid to assume we’ll see the latest and most powerful CPUs, increased RAM size and better screens.
